Real Estate Litigation.  One of the principal areas of expertise of Heller, Horowitz & Feit, P.C. is real estate litigation. On a regular basis, we represent owners, developers and investors in disputes concerning the acquisition and sale of parcels of real property, syndication and partnership disputes, commercial mortgage and lien foreclosures, complex leasing disputes, real estate brokerage disputes, and disputes with lenders. The Firm also represents partners, joint venturers, members and shareholders in real estate owning entities (as well as “closely held” corporations in areas other than real estate) in disputes amongst themselves. This aspect of our practice requires, in many cases, litigation on an expedited basis, including requests for provisional relief. The Firm not only tries cases in this area of practice on a regular basis but also perfects and argues numerous appeals in all courts on complex real estate issues.
